Intelligence Community – GTGI has worked with the Intelligence Community of the US Federal Government (including the National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and Office of Naval Intelligence) on many projects encompassing information security, workflow optimization and distribution of data, both classified and unclassified.
U.S. Navy Medical Records uses a combination of Rimage systems and SecureDisc to distribute Naval personnel medical records on encrypted discs allowing for safer and more convenient distribution of patient information.
Ceridian, a major US payroll processing company, deployed SecureDisc Rimage Edition software across 20 facilities in North America to encrypt sensitive client financial content that is distributed monthly to their client base.
Fiserv, a major financial services company that acts as a fulfillment house for small banks in the United States has deployed SecureDisc Rimage Edition to regional offices around the United States to be able to protect monthly statement content going to end users on behalf of their bank customers
U.S. Navy public affairs initially deployed as an on-prem instance of GDAMS digital asset management system in 2006. Since then the site has grown significantly and now exists in Amazon Web Services. The DAM has grown to include Global Messaging Service, Global File Transfer Manager, IBM Aspera, and FileCloud. Navy’s GDAMS ecosystem manages more than two million assets and transmits about 200,000 emails to subscribers daily.
Joint Visual Information Systems Distribution Activity (JVISDA, now part of the DMA / DIMOC group) utilized an array of GTGI capabilities to eliminate thousands of square feet of training video inventory while dramatically increasing order processing efficiency. GTGI provided tape conversion services to transfer VHS, Betacam, and U-Matic tape masters into digital images on a file server with an attached G-Stor storage array. GTGI also developed and deployed a custom software application to process training content orders directly from incoming emails. Now JVISDA’s customers can place an order for the training content they need, and DVDs are professionally burned and printed on demand by a Rimage Producer System… eliminating 80% of process overhead.
US Census Bureau distributes population, topographical, and other data from their archives. Previously this information was distributed on a fixed set of CDs and DVDs, but Census customers wanted to request a custom disc from the Census web site containing sub-sets of data from specific states. This request presented a problem because the format of the mapping software Census uses requires each geographical area to be re-indexed if the entire disc set is not available. GTGI built a custom software solution that integrated to the Census map format to aggregate the data, re-index it on-demand, and generate a CD with the requested data and a custom label using Rimage Producer hardware. This process enables Census to eliminate excess inventory and waste while improving customer satisfaction.
